Admins can save time and effort using the new AI-powered assistant in Teams Rooms Pro Management Portal. It can help you answer questions using the latest Teams documentation and provides data and insights specific to your organization’s environment.
Core Capabilities of the AI Assistant
Knowledge Queries: Interact with the portal using everyday language to answer what, where, and ‘how to’ questions. Ask detailed questions about features and even compare features.
Data Queries: Interact with the Assistant using everyday language to extract data on these topics:

Inventory
Because the AI assistant is still evolving, you may experience errors and generated responses that aren't as relevant. Remember, AI-generated content can contain mistakes. Make sure it's accurate and appropriate before using it. To improve the experience, please provide feedback on what's working and what's not.
Prerequisites
To use the AI assistant, ensure you meet these prerequisites
A valid Teams Pro license
Global or Teams Rooms Pro Manager administrative privileges
Note
This is not officially Copilot as it doesn’t yet meet all requirements. It is LLM chatbot AI assistance though. It provides information, does NOT yet perform actions.
Enabling the AI Assistant
Log in to the Teams Pro Management Portal.
Open the AI Assistant by selecting the AI assistant icon on the top right banner
Type your question in the chat window and hit enter
Tip
The AI assistant will limit results based on the role assignment and scope of the user.
To rate the response, select the Thumb up or Thumb down icon on the message. It is possible to rate each message individually.
To restart the conversation, select Clear messages at the bottom right of the conversation window
Note
The AI assistant will interact in the same language configured by the user for the Pro Management portal. It uses automatic translation to interact in all languages supported by the Pro Management.
Rating responses
When rating the responses from the AI assistant, we capture the previous input and the response. These data are used to help make quality improvements and add capabilities in the future.

The sample prompts listed here show a few of the areas where the AI assistant can be especially helpful, but this isn't a complete list of all the things you can do. We encourage you to experiment with your own prompts and see how the AI assistant can help you with your management tasks.

Currently, the AI assistant is in Public Preview in the following environments:
